The term flipping, as used in the quoted newspaper article and by most investors and ...flipping as a predatory lending practice, stating as follows in a notice dated May 12, 2010 (HUD Docket No. FR?5397-N?01): Property flipping ...property recently acquired is resold for a considerable profit with an artificially inflated value, often the result of a lenders collusion ...property flipping occurs within a matter of days after acquisition, and usually with only minor cosmetic improvements, if any. FHA REGULATIONS ...property involved was executed within 90 days of the prior acquisition by the seller.  While not banning the practice of flipping altogether, THIS SEEMS FAMILIAR. . .OR IS IT?
